We’re thrilled to announce that we have secured National Lottery Awards for All Funding to make our Festive Winter Programme even more magical this year and next!
These sessions kick off in late November and continue through December. They are designed for children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. Our charming Victorian classroom will be decked out with festive decorations, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere and our nature trail will be filled with a wide variety of engaging activities.
Our Festive Winter Programme offers a sensory-rich experience that celebrates the sights, smells and sounds of the season. From decorating the Christmas tree to singing Christmas songs and crafting festive treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Feedback from last year included; ‘A lovely session, accessible to our most complex children who could not go on other outings’ and ‘As always there was a fantastic range of hands on multisensory experiences. The pupils have had a thoroughly enjoyable time.’
This funding will ensure that we have all resources needed to make this a wonderful, memorable experience for our visitors.
