Connecting Young People with Nature Conservation and Heritage.

On February 13th, Alex Sharp, one of our centre managers met with two members of Royal Parks staff to kick off Green Futures, a Royal Parks initiative, in Richmond Park. We were joined by pupils from Malden Oaks who learnt about the important role of caring for the park in combating climate change, how valuable our volunteer force is and about future careers in green spaces.

After an hour of bramble taming (see photo!) we are looking forward to our next session in April! Find out more about the Green Futures Programme here
